I'm stuck on the upper snake area. Any way I try it, I end up either with the tar growing and becoming uncutable, or babies being led into the arrow trap on my way back, or both. What am I missing?

Wait....now I can't figure out how to kill the tar baby left to kill the upper snake. If I stick around to kill it, I won't make it back to the mother in time. If I kill the lower snakes first, then I can't get to the upper one anyways. Am I correct in assuming you have to kill the upper snake first? Or is there a way out of the bottom loop I am not seeing?

You have to kill the upper snake first. The upper snake takes efficiency and timing. Everything has to be perfect.

I'm not seeing how I can stick around long enough for the baby to follow me out...I can kill everything except for that baby. :/

×after you get back to the tar, take another trip up to the upper snake area to kill the baby, then back to the tar, then work on the lower snakes

It was too obvious. Now off to 1 north. O_o

I feel stupid, but I can't do this because the green door is in the way. <_< To be more specific, I can't get back round the outer ring without being killed by the tar baby, and I can't west of the inner ring's entrance after I leave the outer ring.

You can not exit the outer ring immediately as you said because you'll never get the inner snake.

And you can not simply go all the way around the outer ring immediately or you'll meet up with the tar baby.

So, what's option #3?

Okay, I'm trying to figure out how to kill the upper snake, and this is as far as I get. I can't even figure out how to get around the tar baby! It's very embarassing when a baby kills you time and time again. Help?
