The forum seems quite in whack to me (and Opera 8.5), so I'd say that it's your browser.

Deer Park Beta has a problem with the forum's columns - I know that much.

It seems that the column on the left is set not to wrap. This is probably the cause of the problem in Mozilla 1.5.

Bumping this: Firefox 1.5 has been officially released, so it looks like this might be a problem on our end.

Again, it looks like the left column is set not to wrap, which is why its size seems to vary so much.

What that doesn't explain is why most of the first columns are *shorter* than they are in other browsers. Removing it does not fix anything in Firefox 1.5. Actually, if I sit there and refresh a page over and over, I can get different results sometimes. That seems like a Firefox problem.

Well, this is hacky as heck, but it looks better now. A couple hours of trying different things hoping for a "correct" solution turned out to be a waste of time. Don't know why it was like it was. So I just added a dummy 180 pixel image into the left column.
