Not a bug. The same thing happens <i>here</i>. We don't allow HTML in posts, subjects, or attachment description for that matter.

If you used [i] and [/i], you might have a case, but I'm inclined to make all attachment descriptions look uniform.

Ah, so it was something the user (wasn't me) entered manually. I haven't played with the file upload portion and thought it was something filled in automatically. My apologies.

I screwed with that a bit ago to test, because I was wondering if it was doable. It was, and it got fixed.
