I don't usually do this... but then I've been around the bloke a couple or maybe more here, so I'd better update this stuff.
Real Name: Matt Cramp (guess where my screen name comes from)
Location: Wollongong, Australia
Age: 18
Hair: Brown, with tendency to look like it's from the 70s
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5"
11' or so
Job/Grade/College: Assistant Manager, Shellharbour LPO
Favorite Artist: Moby, but he isn't a band now is he?
Favorite Type of Music: Slight leaning towards techno, but no real preference, except for heavy metal and bubblegum pop, which can go to hell
Favorite Computer Game: Hmmm... Monkey 2 (honesty is the best policy)
Favorite Video Game: Super Metroid, although the FFs and a fair few NGC games are clamouring for attention
Favorite Movie: The Truman Show (yeah, yeah, I know, but I really like the movie)
Favorite Author: Terry Pratchett. I generally like fantasy, but can only take one series of 'hard' fantasy at a time. Pratchett, Rowling, et al I can devour and come back for more.
Tried reading Grisham's latest, and it's really not that good (King of Torts). Be warned.
Agree wholehartedly re Robert Jordan. It took him 5 bad books to write something interesting.
How long you have been playing DROD: About 2 months or so - thought it was a measly four weeks, but it's not.
Have you beaten DROD: Yes
What level are you on: Level 1 of Bavato's Hold
Favorite level: 12. The snakes were hella fun.
Least favorite level: Level 23. I hate goblins.
Favorite thing to do: Hmmm... sit down in front of a heater with a doona, something sweet and maybe some milk or water and read a book.
Desert island companion: Martin Luther
Dumbest thing ever done: Oh god, I have to choose one? I'm the king of the faux pas. Let me split it:
Most embarrasing moment: Got up to do a speech in year 4 for an excursion and started bawling. Copped hell for that one.
Dumbest thing I ever pulled off: Got up to do a speech in year 8 for the school's environment club, without a script or no clear idea of what to talk about, and winged it. I call it the "
Bet You Didn't Know That speech"
and can't for the life of me remember how it went outside the fact every second line was "
And I bet you didn't know that!"
Proudest moment: Excepting pulling that off, getting high distinctions in the UNSW Maths, Science, English and Computers competitions.
Cat or dog person: Cat person, although I don't like other people's.
Matt, isn't L. Ron Hubbard the guy who started Scientology?
Matt (I want to get a room of Matts together and say, 'Hey, Matt!')
[Edited by Mattcrampy on 02-18-2004 at 12:48 AM GMT: Man, I'm a superstar now]
