Hi!

I have a quick question about DROD AE: how do place stairs so they touch the edge of the room? I know it's possible, as some of Dugan's levels have exits that touch the bottom of the room.

Every attempt I've made is either invalid, or there's a wall on the bottom row. Perhaps it could be changed so you don't have to place it surrounded by a wall.

I don't think it's possible. You can get one row of wall only by deleting the edge of the room before placing the stairs, but you can't get the actual stairs to touch the room edge.

Is it really a problem? OK, it wastes one row of room space but if that's a problem you can make the stairs smaller. I don't really think this matters much.

The image above shows 1 on an exit stretching down into the room's bottom row.
