King Dugan's Dungeon 2.0 : Twenty-Fifth Level : 2 South (0)

Please help me with this room.....I am having an uncontrollable urge to do bad things to the Neather with those orbs!! :wacko

the only cure is a good strong hint I am thinking.
I start at the northernmost of the two doors together and wait for the nice Neather to get around to opening the door. Then I go to each of the nine areas marked to try to get through to the queens. I can sometimes get passed the first door but NEVER the second.....grrr.

Search for this room under King Dugan's Dungeon (not 2.0)...there is at least one good post out there with hints for this room.

You'll see when you watch this that it's probably not going to help much, but at least it might give you some ideas.

The same as you'd solve the room normally -- trick the Neather into hitting an orb so that he doesn't reach the orb blocking your exit in time. The SE exit is blocked by an orb right at the end of one line, which is why this exit is easiest, and is the one forbidden by the challenge. But at least three other exits can be got through by the same method:

×I'm not sure exactly how it works, but you can get the Neather caught in some kind of loop where he hits one orb over and over for quite a few turns. Clear roaches in the general vicinity of (23,7) and after a while the Neather will open the passage at (32,7) and then go off and hit that one orb repeatedly for whatever reason. This should give you time to get to the queens.

It may help to do a fakeout and go towards the passage you're not supposed to go to for the challenge, then turn back.

Honestly, this is by far my least favorite challenge. At least there's a relatively easy way to do it, even if I don't understand how it works.

Oddly, I was able to get him into a loop infinitely and accomplish absolutely nothing by...
