Tar in a 2 steps corridor is indestructible, right?
Then I found this room imposible to win. I can retain the tar from expanding south (you know how), but the little space above her and to her left gets filled and I canīt see how to clean it or how to impede that it happens.

Yes, well if you cut it from below you can allow the tar to grow two steps. Thus you have ninty moves at your disposal before you are doomed.

Well Blondbeard hits the nub of the problem. The '90 moves' statement is key.

I get the blue tar and open the red gate, but the mud has gotten too big to clear mud babies

Yes... You DO have to cut one blob of mud before taking out the tar. If not you wonīt be able to get to the seeps.

Actually, you don't need to do that, but that solution may be more difficult.

Yes... I kind of suspected that. So it was pretty stupid of me to use capital letters for do. Hope itīs ok anyway? :)

Do you mind giving me an extra clue as to which blob of tar to take out? If I take out the lower-left one, I get slowed down by the fact that the tar babies chase me all the way to the arrows; I can take out the lower-right one and still have time to stop the blue tar mother before the blue tar ascends into the corridoor, but it doesn't make a difference: I still end up being blocked from the seeps by the growing red tar...

As has been pointed out by Stefan, there's no need to cut any mud blobs (red tar = mud). But I think that even if you choose to cut one, the solution will still be similar...

The problem you have is that the mud fills all entrances to the box. Think what can you do to prevent the mud from growing into one of the passages after the red doors are open. Hint: obviously, you know that the mud can grow only on free tiles, right?

Woohoo, got it! I ended up getting both of the mud blobs at the bottom and still making it back in time for the tar mother. Thanks for the tip!
