What sort of Smitemaster are you? (+1)
I made a search for a similar topic, but it didn't bring up anything, so either there was nothing to find, or I simply couldn't search my way out of a paper bag.
So, I was wondering how other players handled their "hold strategy"; in other words, how many holds do you play at once, and how do you select them. Knowing how a Smitemaster picks holds allows the researcher to determine a lot about the character, potential and motivation of said Smitemaster. For example, you could fall under any of the following categories (a sample of all the incredibly vast variety of Smitemasters).
- The Focused Smitemaster, who will stick to one hold until said hold has been completely cleared, or until said Smitemaster dies of old age.
- The Polyvalent Smitemaster, who will juggle with several holds at once, switching from tar-clearing to trapdoor-dropping in the blink of an eye.
- The Roaming Smitemaster, who will get started on virtually all jobs, but will fail to complete any in the prescribed delays.
- The Methodical Smitemaster, who will play one hold after the other according to the alphabetic ordering; whether articles should be used to make this list is a matter open to debate.
- The Wavering Smitemaster, who will contemplate the list of all the holds for hours on end, and who will therefore not be able to actually do anything.
- The Aspiring Smitemaster, who will select holds depending on their difficulty; the harder, the better the reputation once back home (if still in one piece).
Inquiring minds wish to know who you are!
The 37th Pollster.
