ok, its been 2 days that ive been stuck, i have read all above posts and still cant do it.

to start with i was just struggling getting from the NE orb back to the fuse, but having had so many hours of trying, i can now do that part well, whitch is good, as i managed to exit the room by accident and had to start over.

i am now totally stuck, i have hit the orb, and made it to SW and lit the fuse, that was the longest fuse ever!!!!!!! and placed the decoy on the bomb by the tar, i have then killed all of the rock things (not sure how to spell golums???? )

but i can't get back past the roaches to get to the SE corner as the centre area even if i clear each spawn always arvives with the other spawn in such a way that my brain keeps f*****g up and getting munched, i am sick to death of this room my move count is at 2000 and i haven't even hit the second bomb, i am hopeless against the brains, they are much more powerful than mine

any advice welcome

Edit: Right. The room. I just now played it again. Brained roaches can be tough. My only advice for you at this point would be to try as much as you can to move Beethro and not his sword when you're attacking. Not sure if that'll help.

thanks!!!

not managed to finish room, but with your advice made it over enough to enter secret room, so i will try entering from that side after i do a bit on level 23.

If you press the "shift"-button, you lock the room and so you can't accidently exit the room untill you press "shift" again.

Note: This feature only works in DROD:TCB. This "shift" thing doesn't work in JtRH.
