Hi!

I've made it up to level 22 without skipping a single level, but the pc I was using broke down.

I'm using my other pc now and downloading the game again, and I'd appreciate it if somebody could send me a save preferably for the 22nd level, or anything close. I would really like to beat this game once and for all.

BTW, is there any way to skip levels?

Oh yeah, good point...there are two warp rooms in the game. I don't remember exactly where the first one is, but the second one is on level 12 so you can skip the maze if you want to. Unfortunately, the ending isn't going to be very good if you skip lots of levels.

I will tell you right now that anyone who has beaten the game will most likely not give you their final save game, just as a matter of principle. You will probably just have to be patient and wait for someone who has seen this message to get to level 22, either for the first time or on a second playthrough. As long as you're waiting, you might as well get started heading down again. You might be surprised at how fast you do it.

Go over to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/drod, create an account if you don't have one, and then go to the files area. There is a drod1_5.dat file with saved games up to level 23.

Hey, thanks for the file!

I've made it to level 24. Done all the rooms except the two with the tar. Ugh. God knows how much I hate the tar mothers and babies. Well, any specific tips for those rooms?

I hope that's the last I'll see of the tar.

Or maybe not, since that room is a different kind of tar room - the rooms in level 24 are the last of the big "wade through a maze of tar" rooms.
