One that I'm proud of is completing Dino Crisis in under ~1:45 without using any weapons up until the end boss (two or three shots at the boss, depending on which ending I had. I'm thinking about going at it again to see if I can beat it without firing once).

Things i'm prouf of:
Made it to the elven fortress of The Severed Hand (chapter 5) in Icewind Dale 2 with one hero (Deep gnome Rogue/Wizard) on Insane difficulty (i can't survive the Cabal of Dragonkin or the Cult of Xvim, not even close to Isair and Madae (of course throughout the game i avoided the Iron golems and the Yuan-ti dragon). Also with the same hero in chapter 1, i managed to clear the goblin fortress without healing once or resting at all (i was on 3 hp at the end). (on a totally unrelated note i've found bug in Icewind Dale that is mentioned nowhere, alowing you to become level 30 in chapter 2. I didn't use it with this hero, though)
Killed the Demogorgon in Baldur's Gate 2:Throne of Bhaal with only 3 characters used.
My Winmine record on expert is 74 seconds without cheating. (There is one 54 seconds on youtube :( )

Now more on topic:
Serious Sam I and The Second Encouter (100% secrets found)
Finished FF3.
Conqured Warlords battlecry 1, 2 and 3.
Beat Heroes of Might & Magic 3 and the expansions on hardest difficulty (Sandro fot teh win!) and most of Heroes Chronicles (i couldn't get my hands on).
Finished Star Ocean.
..and more i can't remember now. Sorry.

on PS:
Crash Bandicoot 1,2,3,4 (first 2: 100%, the rest 3%-4% less)
Silent hill 1
Twisted Metal 2

At one point in my life, my best Minesweeper scores were less than 100 seconds total. 4 for beginner, 21 for intermediate, and 66 for expert. Then, my sister erased them. 'Twas a sad day.

Beating Webfoot DROD when I was 8 is probably my greatest gaming achievement.

Come on, just try to do that. ;)

It took me about a year to beat, but that was partially because I stopped playing for a while when I got to level 22. There were times when I would spend hours on a single room.

The next hardest game would be stuntman for the playstation 2. It actually reminds me of DROD because each level has the same initial set up and is ridiculously hard.

Fish Fillets will go on my list of challenging games (if I ever beat it). I'm a little more than half way through.

Nice thread :)

I won't list the games I've completed as I usually never give up. I'd say I've probably reached about 400 end credits.

As for what I'm proud of:

JtRH -> Mastered without using undo

DROD -> my #1s

Dungeon Master, Atari STe -> Reached last level in under 2 hours (then died as you can't actually beat this level without plenty of exp)

Some impossible arcade game which name I can't remember involving going down a river in an inflatable ring -> Finished first time (never got even 5% into the game since then (Yes, it was sheer luck))

Supaplex -> Finished! Took 10 years

SubTerra -> Completed (level IX)
SubTerra II -> 2 levels left. All bar one completed on Hard (Level IX)

Kasparov Grandmaster Chess -> Beat on grand master. 2 day game. It gave me a score of 240 IQ lol

Tiger Woods PGA 2005 (GameCube) -> 26 under par for 18 holes
Tiger Woods PGA 2005 (GameCube) -> 74 under par for the round

Monkey Ball I/II -> Completed

Tony Hawks I/II/III/IV/UG/UGII... -> All complete
Tony Hawks IV -> Longest combo 5.8 million (own character, max stats)

ASM -> (OK, not really a game, but coding seemed that way to me at time) Sold my putPixel(x,y) routine for x86 architecture to a rather well known graphical OS provider as it was one of the fastest in the world. I was 12. Very proud of that :) They obviously had something faster, but didn't want anyone else to come close. Interestingly, I exploited an ADD bug in the Intel chipset which always set AX to 1 (one of those undefinedly will always do that) and XOR that saved a few clock ticks but yeah... Luckily AMD chips had exactly the same "flaw" lol Good for me anyways :)

Gosh that sounded vain... Sorry :blush

Doom -> Complete in 17 minutes on nightmare, one sitting

Leisure Suit Larry I -> Complete *without help*!!! What an unfair game...

Logic games -> Knowing enough lateral thinking puzzles to be able to answer most with just the first 5 words (party trick):
Two professors meet in a -> 8,3,3
In zero gravity I light -> Spherical, blue
Monkey on a pulley -> Rise at the same time
3 prisoners get buried -> The colour of the hat of which there is the most of
etc

Lemmings -> All bar the penultimate level

Love -> Now there's something I'm very proud of :)

Wow! Yeah... spot on :) Even the apostrophe is right.

Finishing that convinced me never to play another arcade game again :)

I coulda guessed that one too, sheesh! I played that one several times, and yeah, it is a frustrating quarter-gobbler. Never came close to swearing me off of arcade games though.

Game on,

Crash Bandicoot 3? Grr! Why did you have to remind me about that? :P I finished 99% of that one summer with not a lot else to do (I assosciate Miss Jackson by Outkast with that game because it was on the radio all the time while I was playing it) and could never get the last bloomin' diamond thingy.

I used to play minesweeper obsessively before I found DROD. I'd set the field as large as possible (24X30) and keep increasing the mine count when I beat it. Here's my best time at 207 mines.

7.~33% of Oxyd
8.Mario 1,2,3 [NES],World [SNES] And most of Marios on other consoles ^^
9.Most of parts of Zelda
10.50% of N [Though because of reinstallation I lost my newest save]
11.Love Hina Advance - had every ending ^^
12.Of course, all my games, but one.
13.And many other things I can't remember at the moment

Hey, I also used to play Minesweeper :D

I just finished a Resident Evil 4 Unupgraded Hangun-only Pro mode run. Salazar took ages to kill, but found a good method of defeating him without taken much damage.

I'm currently doing a low item run of Zelda: Link to the Past, skipping all possible hearts and items not needed to complete the game. Am on the 6th Dark Temple.

After this, will do Zelda:TP, Pikmin 2 then F-Zero GX.

I forgot about this place!

I've gotten at least one more gaming accomplishment...though I was one of four people to do it.

My college roommates and I got 1,000,000 roses in We <Love> Katamari. Not worth it, but we did it.

Just realized I didn't actually post my accomplishments. Hmm...Ah! Completing the Challenge of the Gods in God of War. Twice. It took me about 7 hours the first time, and something like 8 the second.

Being the first non-tester/dev to beat the main portion of TCB. No, you can't take that away...from...me.

Getting an S on all but two songs in Elite Beat Agents on the hardest difficulty.

I think that's all that I recall that I consider an "accomplishment" in gaming.

Pretty good for a first speedrun by a kid! :smile

I managed to get 120 #1s in 24 hours in DROD last week (200 in 2 days). This was over 4 holds, most of which rooms had already been played (so I didn't get many on entrance rooms).

They've all disappeared since due to the current Spider bug, but it allowed me to temporarily overtake Rabscuttle on #1s which is something I've been dreaming of for 2 or 3 years.

Conquered every single one of Megaman Battle Network (I think I used emulator saving only once in MBN 1 or 2 on last boss, other).
Conquered almost every Megaman on all consoles but the latest (Like GameCube, DS). Excepting Megaman X 6 (I'll finish it sooner or later)
Conquered Metroid Fusion on 1% (with less than not much effort).
Completed Metroid Fusion and Super Metroid like... 7 times each.
Killed all Rexes in Metal Gear Solid 2 (PS2) on Europan Extreme.
Conquered DROD:AE (In three months or so... Or maybe it was longer, I can't remember).
Conquered Cave Story without collecting Health Upgrades. Spoiler Ahead!
Click here to view the secret text

Conquered Wonderquest (The first dungeon, ie. Master Orion or so - can't remember)
I am hardcore Spread Keyboard player in Stepmania, facing everything without doubt nor fear in my eyes :shifty.
Most of Zelda games.
Completed Castlevania Symphony of the Night on PS - the best castlevania ever ever ever!
Finished Alundra twice, and almost finished like 5 times.
Drainstorm on Easy. And I'm proud of that!
Tyrian 2000 on Hard at least twice.
Rayman 1, 2 and 3. Yet, I only felt satisfaction from completing the first one.

On the other worthy, but more Odd thing:
Played on C64 when I was like 5 years old. I remember it well, but only three games - Draconian, Droid and Boulderdash (And there was one game which title I don't remember).

I'm also currently playing Guardian Legend on NES (ie. Playing it from time to time) and Dark Cloud on PS2 (I love this game).

It was fun experience to remember all these games :).
