No...it does that for me too. What happens is that it loads the page inside a frame, and it is possible to load multiples frames that continue downward in a pyramid. While it is a strange occurance, I don't really see how you could prevent this. One should just hope that the person viewing the site would know that he/she is already on DROD.net and would not click the banner again.

It works fine for me too. No nested frames ad nauseum. Maybe it's something that IE struggles with. (I use FF.)

(There is a way to tell a page to take over the topmost frame.)

Ohhhh... I see what you mean. When it drops you onto a forum page, the DROD.net banner up here on the left will open in the old frame.

Aah, this is really easily fixed, actually. We can either make that banner break frames if it needs to (Schik? While you're at it, can you make both do it, so if anyone stumbles into the forum from frames, they can break it really easily?)

Or, I could take the challenges out of the forum template and put them in the viewnews page, which gets rid of the DROD.net banner. When whoever it was wrote that bit of PHP, we didn't have the viewnews page. I'll probably do this anyway, but best to cover all bases.

Unless Schik forgot to make challenges appear properly on that page. In which case I'm going to have awful fun.

Edit: as I could do it, but I'm in an internet cafe and not my lovely computer with FTP access to DROD.net, whoever is making this change needs to add:

target="_top"

to the link to make it break frames.
