Just note this is a poll out of curiosity. Nothing decided here will be implemented or anything. I'd just like to see what people think on the matter. Personally, it would be interesting to have it intergrated into the main page, but I doubt that will happen.

The letter changes colo(u)r actually when you have an unread PM in your inbox.

It gets bolded. It doesn't actually change colour, it just looks like a deeper blue because of the thicker lines.

Since we already have that PM link up at the top, right under the banner, it only makes sense to show the new PM status there. So now, that PM link will turn red and be a little bit bigger when you have an unread PM. It becomes very obvious, and the best thing is, you can now see if you get a new PM from any page, not just the front page.
