I was just posting on another message board, and when I hit the Submit button it put me back to the post message screen, with big red text that said something like "Someone else posted while you were typing. You may want to review your post". This seems like a pretty decent idea, if it could be done on this forum I think it would be useful...like in the rush to answer hint requests, or even in the Forum Games section.

If you preview your post after typing, the last 5 messages posts screen gets updated and you can see if someone has posted anything while you were typing. It may still happen sometimes but not nearly as often.

Good point...I think I knew about that, actually. But I forgot about it after seeing the other board's method. Basically after they give you the warning they put you back on the posting screen, with the updated topic list like we have here. So basically it's forcing you to preview with the updated list instead of hoping that you are paying attention.
