Last room of the level (which was pretty fun I must say)

I understand that I need to drop some specific trapdoors so the briar roots take enough time to grow so I can crush them and kill the brains.
More specifically, I think I need 27 (maybe 28 ?) turns from the moment I leave the hot tiles.
Which means that I need at least 54 briar growth. I can't get more than 47. I've tried many different combination but it does not work.

I've attached a demo to show how I'm doing.
