Every time I play Steam TSS, the big list of beta hold updates is repeated back at me when I first press Continue Game that session. I'd expect this list to only show an update once, then never show that update again.

The list is quite long. There are many more updates still to come up from the bottom of the screen.

Does deleting the notifications in the notifications dialog help?

My understanding is that these are generated on the server side so I'm not sure what the deal is here.

I can confirm that deleting them from the notifications dialog does not help, I deleted some (one at a time) then closed and reopened the program and they came back.

The idea is/was that the game would store the id of the last notification received, and then only ask for notifications newer than that the next time.

I'm not sure why it's not working properly. But for now, I cleared out the list of notifications, because we really don't need to keep them around, and I added in some server-side protection to only send out recent notifications.

I can confirm the Steam version no longer sends out a huge list any more.

However I updated my own beta hold yesterday and see no notification about it so wondering if maybe it's too aggressive now (or I had the notification cleared out some other way that I've forgotten)
