See attached demonstration hold. The sword no longer applies custom weakness, and the enemy does not display (Roach aspect).

This is logged to the error log:
Assertion error in line 836 of D:\DRODDEV\drodrpg\DRODLib\Character.cpp: "!"Unsupported var display""

It was working fine in 467x.

In the example hold you are trying to assign a numeric value to the _MyWeakness var, but it needs to be text.

However it does seem there is something going on since the game is asserting.

Ah yeah whoops, that was dumb! Sorry about that. Hitting Assign and not Assign Text.

However, the initial report was based off some weirdness I found which I have managed to properly recreate this time, which you'll find in the hold attached to this post. Monsters are losing their weakness when you leave the room and re-enter it.

I'm no longer 100% sure if this is actually a regression or if it was like this in the previous version.

Can confirm fixed in 1.3.0.499. Custom monster weakness don't get lost when leaving then re-entering the room.
