I picked up a new game this weekend, Keen: One Girl Army (on sale at Steam).

Kinda like DROD, but instead of a middle-aged guy with a Really Big Sword, you're an 8-year-old girl with a polearm and roller skates.

It's both a stepping game (you move and attack, then monsters move and attack) and a sliding game (when you move, you keep moving until something stops you). The interesting twist is that you can slide through monsters so long as there's an empty tile on the other side.

I liked the graphics, and the puzzles are a good difficulty, with bonus challenges and secrets. However, it's missing several quality-of-life features: fullscreen-only, can't rebind keys, no undo, rare checkpoints (like one per level), and can't even restart the current room.

I recommend it if you're looking something like DROD, but sillier.
