In the Make a Good DROD Level Contest, architects were asked to try and make the best DROD level they could--no restrictions or particular requirements besides some modest size restraints. That's not to say that people didn't come up with their own gimmicks, though! Come and see just what the various entrants thought made a level "good".

There's a staircase in the entrance that goes to the hub room puzzle for Halloween, allowing that level to be skipped. I assume it was added for testing and Xindaris forgot to remove it.

That was for demo production on a last-minute change to that particular hub room, sorry :(

Well, it doesn't break any important demos at least. And it can be fixed by just replacing the tile with a floor tile, and/or everybody just not using it to "cheat" :P

Anyway, thanks to all the participants and other type contributors, and to the HA's for getting this out the door! :thumbsup

Only looked at a few, but those changed commands seem to correspond to image overlay and sound effect commands. Perhaps it's something to do with the files they reference?

The last two differences listed (plus the hub level being different) are the removal of the stairs as intended. All the rest of them seem to very likely refer to image overlay/sound commands as Dragon Fogel said, since they are 100% related to scripted elements from the halloween 2021 entry, which uses those in many places. For example, the change in 1E is definitely an image overlay command that didn't actually, meaningfully change.
