Fireballs : Volcanic Activity : 6 South, 1 East (0)

So I figure I need to time the fireballs entering the right side of the room at the correct time so they block the tar from spawning and hitting the switch.

I can get the first pair of fireballs in with the correct timing to block 1 tar growth cycle, but then I have no idea how to block the second tar growth. I figure I have to use the second pair of fireballs but I have no idea how to pull it off while still getting beethro to the fuse in time to not waste the first fireball pair blocking the tar.

Any hints?
