Leave it to me to get stumped by literally the second room of the hold--that's how you know it's me playing it!
...for real, though. I get the idea; swaps pause the monsters, so naturally I gotta time my pausing right... but no matter what, the combination just won't work out. I assume I need to make it so I hold the spawned roach AS a roach, directly south of the plate.
Issue is, either...
A) I get directly south, the roach is spiked, and it's a moot point as the spawn is dead.
B) I swap it into a goblin to prevent it from being spiked, but now as a goblin it darts for a corner it cannot escape from given it's beelining for a place it cannot reach, and burns itself, rendering it a moot point again as the spawn is dead.
C) I swap it back to a roach as it rests atop the plate, but by this point it is far too late to move anywhere NEAR directly south of the plate, roach beelines SW, burnt, moot point.
Where exactly am I meant to pause it if not those places...?
