Huh, wonder where this hold started to actually confuse me.

For real, though... I swear I got all the trapdoors, but the red door still doesn't open. I COULD hypothetically use a mimic to take care of the guards, but I have to hit the orbs, and with 6 mimics and 6 orbs, I have to use one for each one--using a mimic on the guards simply won't work.

I suggest double-checking where your mimics are. You might have left one on a trapdoor next to an orb, rather than leading it back to solid ground.

Thing is, I've checked several times over and I can't find the trapdoor I'd be missing. Here's my status on that:

Not sure what's going on with your DROD, but the outlined squares are trapdoors for me.

Ohhhh my NELLY that's weird... I got a strange version of the hold room texture pack where the arrows are bugged and aren't transparent, and I just assumed there wasn't anything beneath them... Room cleared. Uhh, anyone got a fix for THAT?
