Two of the SMS holds--Beethro's Teacher, and Complex Complex--have since received updates via the CaravelNet service since their publication on Steam. No big deal, right? Except... They refuse to download the updates.

This isn't a problem with other holds--beta or official, if it gets updated, Steam allows you to update it with no fuss. But the moment you update a SMS, it wigs out and throws up a generic "The download could not be completed" error.

I have no clue why this happens, but I have an educated guess. Odds are, Steam is constantly making sure that the DLC doesn't go unchanged in terms of data; Steam, not realizing this is the game itself trying to update the DLC, immediately rejects the update as it detects it will tweak the DLC, and from where Steam is concerned, the holds are up-to-date. Thusly, to fix it, a patch would have to be sent out not on CaravelNet (which already exists), but on Steam as well, which would update the version of the hold to actually be the proper, on-CaravelNet version.

Of course, the alternative is to just re-buy DROD from the Caravel site itself, but... Uhh, not exactly in a financial status to just, re-buy everything DROD related.
