I cannot figure out where to start. I have a few things I know are constants:
• I cannot start by getting the mirrors.
• I cannot move the decoys out of their chamber--the firetraps prevent it.
• I do require the stick at some point.

Based on this, there's only one real way to start this room... but I don't know what it is. Can someone give me a pointer as to what my first moves should be?

Instead of thinking about the first moves, what is the end state you are going for? What happens after you get the mirrors? What setup is necessary to make this possible?

This doesn't really help me... After I get the mirrors, I'm locked off from the stick/sword swap, so I'll want to make sure I don't have to move anything. My ultimate goal is to get the mirrors through the firetraps, put the decoy on the plates to open the way to the waterskipper, and put the mirrors on the firetrap gates. Issue is, I cannot get the mirrors without blocking off the stick that I'll use to move the decoys. If I move the decoys in advance, the firetraps activate, and I can't get the mirrors at all.

...what am I missing? My issue is at the very start of the room. Working backwards, I cannot see the flaw--just the same issue I've been having...
