I think it would be neat if we could see how a thread's first post was ranked before opening it. If the first post has already been modded down to oblivion, it would be nice to know that so we can just not open it. Conversely, if it's already been modded up to +62, it's probably worth our time to read it.

Ooh...pretty neat...like on the board page, have a number showing this. Maybe also showing the cumulative total would also be neat...but...uh...probably would take too long to compile the results when the page is generated.

If we could just have one of those hover-over messages when you put the cursor on the topic, then it wouldn't clog up the board and you can only use and see it when you need to.

Or, the thread heading could be shown in different colours according to how highly it is modded, kind of like the user name.
