So my current progress is, I've been able to open the door around the tar blob, get back, let the briar hit the tar blob so I get tar babies, give one a path to the trapdoor area... and then I get stuck at 1 because I either don't have a sword position that lets me cut through the walls, or the baby gets stuck on a corner.

So how am I supposed to do this?
