You actually don't even need the mimics' help at all for this one, it's all about trapdoor efficiency.

Sorry, maybe I should be clearer. I was able to push the mirrors so that I had a way of getting one to the plate.

The part I'm having a problem with is getting the mirror on the plate while I'm south of it.
