I never figured this one out during testing and can't seem to make much headway now. Looks like I either need to kill the roaches with the hot tiles or get the fegundo into the middle area (seems like I need him to break the wall at (18,9) at any rate, but I should be able to return to this room after conquering to do that so maybe the fegundo is a red herring?)

Either way, to kill a roach I need to find a way to get at least a tile of distance between the roach and Beethro. I can do that using the wall at (22,7) but it doesn't help me since the roach either gets locked in or else is right next to me again when I coax it out. I know I could let it out if I had managed to hit the power token so that I could strike orbs, but again, I seem to need more distance between the roach and Beethro in order to get that distance. Roach #2 is no better it seams. I've tried using the middle orthosquare area to gain distance but nothing seems to work. What's the trick here? Am I on the wrong track entirely?

The middle orthosquare area is the key to gaining distance. I'm not sure from your post if you mean you haven't figured out a way to gain distance from it or if you haven't figured out what to do with it, so I'll just give a hint for both.

I just wanted to say this is one of my favorite rooms in the hold and I'm glad it stumped somebuggy. Unfortunately, few roachlings will see it because it's above 29.

My favorite room is 1A:1N, which the same few should see.

I dont understand what it is I am trying to accomplish in this room. I dont see how to get the fegundo in the play area. some hint will help
