So I've taken care of the aumtlich, but after doing that I become very confused about the order of operations.
The part where I'm getting stuck is trying to hold down the eastern plate with a decoy potion on it. That plate toggles the door between the red doors, so unless I close it before then I can't get past it if I'm holding down the plate with a mirror. But there's nothing that closes it that doesn't also close off other doors.
I guess I could try to get a baby over to the plate, but that doesn't seem particularly feasible.
