The only thing I understand is that I'm probably supposed to have Beethro go right to 1 after stepping on the fuse, then wake up the eyes with doubles somehow.

I guess there's a theoretical option where I place a clone outside the puzzle area to escape instead, but I'd still need to be able to wake the eyes and set off the bombs if I did that.

Either way, I have no idea how to do this.

×You don't have enough potions to place a clone outside of the play area for escape.

×As with the non-secret version, you'll be waking the eyes with doubles. (And stepping on the fuse is indeed the last thing you do before running for the exit.)

×Well, it's not really a problem to take a clone potion in an area where you can't leave the room, is it?

×At first I thought you absolutely had to place the clone on the pressure plate in front of the eyes, but you can actually just place one of the other decoys there instead.

I'm one mimic short, as the TODO note says, and even though there is one in the leftmost passage I can't use it, because it's a dead end, I couldn't ever get out from there. I think I have to enter the rightmost passage eventually, to claim the clone potion, and I have to end up with one of the clones on the right plate (next to the eyes) to be able to place the second decoy.

But still, I can either set off the bombs and run for the exit but then one of the doors remains closed, or I open that door with the second Beethro, but then I'm trapped.

(I can also swap the mimic and the clone just before reaching the state shown in the image, and at least smite one of the eyes, but that doesn't do much in the end either.)

×One of the mimics on my screenshot need not be so hasty to reach its final resting place. It has one other thing to do before going there.
