I came across this door in the attached picture as door one. Then there is one in a secret area that I will add to this post as door 2. Is there a way to get what is on the other side or is it just there to throw you off and make you go mad?

Yeah, it's just a red herring. Also, this is not really clearly stated anywhere in the forums, but if you need help with KDD 2.0 it's often better to search the original King Dugan's Dungeon in H&S. The rooms are mostly identical and hint topics exist for a lot of rooms in the original but not for the 2.0 update:

You should remember these doors anyway. It's actually a plot point in the sequel. Though I don't think I'd be spoiling much to say that the one in the secret room is just a maintenance entrance.
