I created my beta hold in KDD but ended up adding post-KDD elements to it. However, because it was created in KDD, it still shows the KDD title screen.

It also won't allow me to download demos from my beta testers because 'they were created in a later version of DROD'.

There doesn't appear to be an obvious way to update my hold's version or otherwise get around this issue.

What version of DROD are you running? It's displayed in the top-left corner in the main menu.

If it's anything earlier than 5.1.0.6512, try again after getting the latest version at http://forum.caravelgames.com/downloads.php

Hmm.

This seems like a good time to move everything to Steam. I'll see if I can do it without ruining everything in the process. :facehoof:

Okay, that worked! But I still have two problems.

The title screen is still King Dugan's Dungeon. I'd like to change that, and exporting/importing did not fix the problem.

Also, I'd like to import my scores from CN. All of the holds I've played show no saves or scores, except for TSS, even though I successfully exported and imported the .player file.

As far as I know, importing a player only imports saves for holds that are currently installed. So you'd have to install all holds with progress first and then import your player.

Not sure about the title screen issue, but it sounds like it's harmless? If all else fails, it's probably possible to create a new hold and copy rooms over from your old hold. You'd lose saves in the process though.

This all works now. The KDD title screen is a mystery I can't solve but the rest works (I just had to reimport the player a billion times).
