I'm using Steam, mac version.
The game crashes upone reaching Somewhere Under The Sea. It is not possible to leave the entrance title screen with the story.
The game also crashes if you hit restore.

It is unplayable.
The same bug was reported and fixed for windows over a year ago. Why not mac version? Steam refuse to refund. This is maybe 15% into the game and very disappointing.

I've been a loyal drod fan since 2008, but now i'm left feeling let down.

I have precisely the same problem with Steam on Mac - it crashes at the start of Somewhere Under the Sea.

I'm not a coder any more (*cough* for 30 years) but it looks as if it comes down to a call to make tiles dark...

Any chance of fixing it -- can't go further. Have replayed to this point with same outcome.
