I seem to be missing the particular move that will let me finish the room. I can get to the pressure plate at the SE corner, and then dash to the corridor at SW and the mimic potion. Now what, I wonder. (BTW, I thought if I had no sword, my mimic wouldn't either, but I must be misremembering something.)

I'm now visible, so if I use the mimic to stab the brain first thing, I have no cover when I enter the main chamber -- a rock giant will be waiting there for me. On the other hand, if I use it to stab a rock giant right away, the newly made rock golems are brained and will get to me before I leave the corridor. Is it a matter of getting the rock giants into certain locations before I make my big moves? I would appreciate anything from a gentle hint to a blatant directive. Thanks!

Brilliant, that did it. One has to be careful not to trigger unwanted events on the way out, but that's just normal alertness. Done, and thanks again.
