I can use the goblin and bat to get to two of the orbs, but cannot seem to use the slayer to get to the third. Any suggestions??

The key is a technique I like to call the "wall-push".

It works like this:

-/\-
B--S
****

Where the stars are a wall (or other obstacle), B is Beethro, S is the Slayer, and the slashes are their weapons. It works in any orientation; the key is the relative positions of Beethro, the Slayer, and their weapons.

When you have this set up, whenever Beethro steps towards the slayer, the Slayer steps back. In particular, if you set this position up in this room so that you're pushing the slayer towards a corner, he'll go onto the force arrows.

The easiest way to set the position up is as follows:
-Put some distance between you and the slayer.
-Let the wisp catch you.
-Lead the wisp against the wall for a few tiles, in the opposite direction from the one you want to push the slayer in.
-Get Beethro's sword in the desired position.
-Let the slayer reach the wall.
-Stand near him so he rotates his hook on the desired diagonal.
-Move towards the wall. The slayer shouldn't change orientation as long as you're close enough.
