What does the challenge description mean? I'm confused by the wording.

(also I haven't actually beaten the room; I let the doors close so I could see what the challenge was.)

Well, about the normal solution:





About the challenge description, the lemming at (14,5) must do all the route he can do, which means that he needs to arrive at (14,27). Then you have to clear the room and you'll get the challenge.
A hint for the challenge it's the name of the challenge itself:

I'm not sure what's confusing you:



Keep in mind that all the testers found the normal solution (and later blorx found the other one), so if you go directly for the challenge you don't need the normal solution at all but as I said, not everyone will start from the challenge IMO.

I see now, I got confused about which lemming the scroll was referring to. Somehow I thought it meant the bent-tail lemming. If I'd paid closer attention, I would have understood it.

Either I did something wrong or my version is broke; I can't get to the left straight-tailed lemming in time to kill it; it always gets to shallow water where I can't attack it before I can do so.

I'm not sure what the non-challenge method involves, though.
