I cant make heads or tails of this. I dont see the logic of the puzzle beyond kill the brain last & exit thru the gate. Help

You obviously have no way to kill the roaches without opening the yellow doors that block them off. But if you try to do that yourself you wind up being trapped.

I assume the free agent is the Eye and i have to build bridges for it to travel. ould I get a screen shot of the bridge placement?

I'm not clear on your current status in the room. There are only two platform shapes in this room even capable of getting to where the eye is in the first place. If you have access to those, where to place them should be fairly obvious.

If you don't have access to those platforms yet, you want to get access by doing something similar to what you're trying to do, but not with the eye.

This was a tricky room but I figured it out a piece at a time and got it. Good puzzle
