No. I'm guessing you were reading the help files and stumbled upon this part about rock golems:
Rock golems are very difficult to kill permanently, as if you break them down, they will eventually reconstruct themselves over time. It takes them much longer for them to be prepared for combat again, however.
This only holds true in lore. During gameplay, dead rock golems are dead forever (unless you haven't cleared the room). I wish the help files were better written to reflect this.
