I guess this strange effect apperas in the Burrito hold only.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it and have only seen it twice after Beethro died and the move was taken back:

No, it hasn't.

That bug report says "the monster appears both atop Beethro and in its original space"

This is a completely different matter - which I cannot reproduce at all.

Can Beethro stay at that tile forever without dying at all?
