I think it's not just the audio but also the animation which makes it more enjoyable

Some tack-on trivia...

The Webfoot scream was me. When we later recorded dialogue with Sten Ryason as Beethro, it made sense to replace my scream with his for consistency if for no other reason.

This year I actually spent a large amount of time recording screams from different actors. Getting a really high-quality scream can be tricky. You have to be in a location where the actor feels comfortable going all-out. E.g. a half hour of screaming in an apartment complex will get the cops called on you. Then there are the technical constraints--clipping, room echo.

Just for fun, I attached a scream my studio recorded last month. The actor is Chelsea Binta. You can tell she is not holding back!
