Make a hold that is annoying, silly, or just downright stupid. Sorta like Bad Evil Restaurant, and other holds of this type.

Try to branch out and be creative. You can have a hold that is packed full of nasty cheap tricks, but at the same time have it be a semi-pleasureable experience; Or you can be a sadist, and have the hold be like sitting and watching 50 Shades. You can make the hold so happy and gay, that the player wonders what kinds of drugs were laced in their lunch; Or so dull and boring that a college lecture on the history of the Midwest sound like a feast for the senses. Perhaps you make a hold so annoying, a bus full of primary school-aged children seems relaxing and straightforward.


Whatever you do, make a hold so awful, you win not just the contest, but our hatred, as well.

RULES
The hold needs to be conquerable and masterable. Thats it.

Are there any prizes? Does this count towards 8-Timer prizes?

I'm guessing "no" to both questions. And I really should be working through the official holds instead of trying to make my own, but...

I really want to get some of those prizes, and a contest where the goal is "ugly and frustrating" sounds like a great place to get some practice, even if it doesn't count. Also, there aren't any official contests running right now.

How big of a hold is normal for contests like these? 5 rooms? 20 rooms? 5 levels? (I don't want to look at the other submissions until I finish mine.)

Which version are you using? If you are using TSS 5.0.1.6060 you won't be able to play those, download the latest patch. In my case, I built the hold using version 5.0.1.6468

I think the best way to troll this contest was to not submit anything.

This is also because I couldn't get a room that selectively crashed drod based on your settings to work correctly.
