A custom installer with language support by itself can be a good solution as well.
That is a decent suggestion, thanks. The installer is not really a hard thing for me to figure out, but I'm not ready to work on it yet.
The release after next, we should work on making a French DROD and probably a Russian one too. After that point, knowing better how much work is involved, I think we'd either:
1. Ask for translations and coordinate with the translators to get DROD localized to different languages.
2. Publish a localization guide so that people can do it without help from the Caravel team.
And actually, it would probably be both. But that's months away, and I don't want to promise that we will do the work of integrating someone's translated text right now.
Man, am I looking a gift horse in the mouth. Please know that I appreciate the offer, and would plan to ask for your help after things calmed down.
Is there a file that has already been translated?
