I am looking for a table top one, and most importantly has excellent levels of training. For example, the ones I've used in the past either do completely idiotic moves on the low settings and then jumps to Bobby Fischer level moves on the high settings with nothing in between. I really would like one that steps up slowly so that I learn and grow against it. Thanks!

Not really a chess game - but a superb training utility is Chess Mentor. I used it years ago and I believe it is now integrated with an online chess portal... not sure as I stopped playing and learning a while back.

Edit: I guess the clue's in the question! Table-top electronic Chess.
