If you're trying to get out of the first area, all I can suggest is that you find a way past the slayer without making it impossible to return and drop the remaining trapdoors on the way back. Going clockwise around the 1x3 bit of wall closest to the first exit as the slayer enters the area or getting around it in any of the open 3x3 zones should be able to work.

×it's all about managing the wisp well. Try to use it to pull the slayer as far south at first before you close off the entrance to the area, then when the wisp reaches you again in the second half, try techniques like moving close to the exit before moving back again. Since a trapdoor closer to the slayer is removed, the wisp's path is disrupted, giving you some free moves to move back. If the slayer enters the area too soon, but as you're nearly done, it is possible to dodge past him while keeping him on the yellow door.
