1. Wall light and light/dark (ceiling) can't be merged.
I don't know, but isn't it hard to do something that it would be possible to place them in one tile? Actually, that would bring more opportunities to experiment with lighting.

2. Bombs and orbs have shadows, but other elements like mirrors don't.
No need to explain that.

3. Would be better if light will be spreading from center.

Maybe it would be better, what do you think?

The real problem with light coming from the center is that DROD rooms are rectangular, and the shadow distance gets really weird at that point when your light source is on screen.

I would start vibrating uncontrollably if wall lights and other lights could be merged properly but I feel like it probably punches the lighting engine in the eye to do that.
