This came up in chat today, thanks to Nuntar for testing this out.

A builder placing a bomb on a pressure plate does not hold down or activate the pressure plate. This is inconsistent with the fact that bombs will normally hold down pressure plates when placed in the editor. This was tested for all three pressure plate types in build 6060.

Fixed for 5.1, bombs (and tarstuffs) should correctly press plates both when using Build and Build Marker.

Confirmed. In 5.1.0.6462, bombs placed with either the Build command or build markers will press all three types of pressure plates.
