It's because the CSS has hyperlink tags as that colour when the secret CSS is white... at least, that's what a 14-year old with no clue as to what he's talking about thinks .

Well, it's because the secret text is done with a table with white background and white text. The secret text was added before we starting using any CSS beyond what the forum came with.

I'd imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to add a classname to the secret tables, like class="secret" and then do some css for ".secret a" but is the payoff worth the effort?

Good. Personally, I hate flash sites. I am still using a slow internet connection sometimes (when my ADSL is being used) and I don't want to have to wait 4 and a half hours just to see someone post "No." to a question I wrote.

I'm testing out some changes to the secret tag - now you can put *anything* in a secret tag and it will remain hidden - links, colored text, images.... whatever.

Secreted quotes look a little messy but they aren't even needed anywhere. Secreted text is also Bold

I had it that way at first in my testing, but then if there are links in the hidden text, it's wierd to see it disappear when you click on the link. I've got another idea about how to fix that though, I"ll look into it.

Could the mouse pointer change on mouseover from the text pointer to the default pointer? It feels a little awkward clicking somewhere with a text pointer.

Or is that the point?

Hmm. Interesting. The secret text is visible out of the gate in w3m and lynx, but I suppose that was a problem all along. I was afraid the text wouldn't show up at all, but it does, so that's good. (Well, best you can get under the circumstances.)

I'm using Firefox, and my cursor used to switch to a hand on mouseover, but now it stays the text cursor. That's weird. Did you decide to revert it?

Further testing reveals it's still a hand in 0.9.3, but it's missing some CSS in 1.0PR (the text isn't bold or in the nice little box either)

Oddly enough, it now appears properly on my home machine, which is the one that was having the CSS problem before. I honestly have no idea what was going on or if you fixed anything, but it's working now and looks great.
