anything that goes into the blue snake area, must die since the doors around close (and also I can't make Halph go in there). I can do this with time-clone, and then disappear, which enables me to reach the closed red door, but that's it.

I'm guessing it has something to do with Halph, but can't work out what it is

The rattleserpents don't consider him hostile and won't attack him. instead they'll treat him as an obsticle and will die on the hot tiles. Of course now the problem is getting Halph up there with the timer.
