I made a guard with a staff push me onto a pressure plate that closed a door between us. Though there was still a path between us, it backed up to where I had started (without even turning around!). Just wait in the attached room.

I cannot reproduce it in the latest dev branch, sounds like it might've been fixed in 5.1 or in one of Hyperme's PRs.
