I want to connect my xbox 360 controller to my samsung galaxy tab 3 device.

So I bought the cable to connect them, but for some reason my tab 3 doesn't recognize the controller.
I also have a samsung galaxy s4 phone, when I connect the controller to my phone everything is just fine and I can use the controller as I want.

Looking through the internet learned my some stuff, but not enough to make it work.
The app that is suggested on several sites isn't available in the "Belgium" playstore.
and searching for the apk-download gave me some warnings from my anti-virus program

Another solution would be to display my phone on my tablet, but I can't figure this out as well.
I can display my phone (through screen mirroring by wifi) on my parrents tv, so I thought if I install somthing on my tab 3 I could use it as "tv", but I'm not able to do so.

So does anyone has some experiance with this?
If so, I could use your help.
If someone has an excellent idea what I could try, please do so.

PS( my tab 3 and s4 have the latest software upgrade installed available in Belgium)

Out of interest - what are the exact Android versions on each?

The S4 may be on 4.4.2 or Lolipop (5.x) whereas the tab 3 may be 4.0 for example.

Settings -> Device (/Phone) -> About

Phone has 4.4.2
Tab 3 has also 4.4.2

And it's wired.
